Welcome into the staff room, please take a seat and be comfortable. I am sorry but we can only offer you virtual tea, coffee and biscuits!

In this staff room you can learn a little more about the use and application of the SAC Visibility Kit as well as how to help the class learn a little more about road safety and why it is so important to create a culture of road safety.

• You can refer to the links page as guidance to instructional information for the class to view as a whole or with their parents.

• You can complete the Claim your class prize application form with the class or set it as a home task.

• You can download the Sponsor a class – Be Seen Be safe booklet and use it as an instructional tool.

In every pack of SAC Visibility Kits there will be a kit specially for the teacher; this will be packed in the top of the box along with the notification of sponsorship, the competition form, the additional sponsorship application form etc. The teacher kit is exclusively for the use of the teacher as it will be an adult size.

The teacher’s kit can be used to demonstrate to the class how to use the kit and how to fold it away again. You can demonstrate it as follows:

Ø Place High Visibility waistcoat face down.

Ø Fold in half placing one side on the other; fold in half again.

Ø Then fold in half top to bottom; fold in half again.

Ø The High Visibility waistcoat is now ready to be placed back in the high Visibility Bag.

Please note for teachers High Visibility waistcoats you will need to fold them into 5 sections instead of 4 due to its width. All other instructions remain the same.

Please encourage your class to write a ‘thank you’ note to the class sponsor, they have been very generous and this recognition is well deserved.

Please remember to protect your class whenever going out onto the street. It is important the children always wear their SAC Visibility Kit.
