SAC Friend – Job Information
You will need to:
Explain the Sponsor a class programme, its aims and reasons.
Explain the sponsorship process.
Guide them to the website and how they can get a sponsorship application form.
Ask for sponsorship.
Sponsors will typically be:
Local companies.
Local organisations, rotary clubs etc
Local individuals.
Explain the benefits of Sponsor a class and our current local success to:
Local schools including private and specialist.
Local colleges
Provide notification when a class has been sponsored.
Gain their permission to receive class information to allow the sending of the Kits;
Class name/reference.
Number of pupils.
Children’s age group
Liaise between sponsor and office to check on processing of sponsorship.
Who would be suitable?
Mothers with free time.
Retired people with a sense of community.
Ex military forces.
People with a desire to help in the community.
Part time teachers and students.
What we provide:
Marketing hand outs – can be downloaded.
Application forms – can be downloaded.
Specification sheets – can be downloaded.
List of all schools in your area with contact details.
Telephony system to make free or virtually free telephone calls and an email address.
What you will need:
A suitable computer.
Access to the internet via ADSL.
A set of headphones with microphone.
The ability to communicate with people at all levels.
A strong sense of responsibility.
Demonstrate a knowledge of the website, the subject matter and the aims of the programme.
How you are compensated:
Income; to help defray expenses for management, communication etc the SAC Friend will receive a small commission for every kit sponsored within the Appointed Area, and a small percentage against all related advertising revenue gained from advertisements placed in the SAC website. All amounts will be reimbursed as a gross figure on a monthly basis, 7 days after the end of each calendar month.
